9 Days of Death

I have been so stinkin' sick for 9 solid days!!! This is what my laundry room looks like:

And this is what the couch looks like:

====================================================================================

I don't want to be too critical of Geoff. He was amazing! He took over for me as soon as he got home everyday. He got dinner on the table, got kids ready for bed, and he managed to keep the dishes cleaned up for the most part. So, I don't blame him for not getting the laundry done. It's just not the first thing you want to do the day you're feeling somewhat better! Sometimes I just wish that when I was sick there were two of me. One that gets to stay in bed and get the rest her body needs and then one who does everything else!! A girl can dream!

I'm feeling lots better now. Yippee! I get to do more laundry!

THAT'S what happened to you. I thought maybe you had joined the Peace Corp or been flown to the moon by NASA. For what it's worth, my family and I have been sick too, probably with the same thing you have.

Does this mean you're better? I am.

At least you have an excuse for having that much laundry to do. I feel like I have those piles everywhere and I'm feeling great!
Glad you feeling better.

Hey, good luck with all that laundry. The one good thing I've found about laundry is that if you just keep it on the top of your list for a day or two it's sure to get done! I just have a hard time remembering to get down there and change things over!

Steph:
This is Nikki. I'm so glad you found us---now we can keep in contact through the blogging network! Can I put your blog name on mine so I can just click on it at leisure?

I'm so glad you're feeling better!! I would offer my help but we're having our own crisis this week (and last and next!)

Hey, I actually had all the laundry caught up at one point (this picture was taken like 5 minutes after that, though). I think it is a miracle that the clothing just magically appears. I really did have all the laundry done at one point when Steph was sick. But whenever Steph needs a break and I pick up the slack, I am reminded how grinding the daily tasks like that are. But I did get a groove on at one point...cook, dishes, laundry, sweep the floor, keep the kids clean and not fighting... lather, rinse, repeat. Although I did get a groove on at one point, and I'm not afraid to cook now.
